Unfortunately, I have no clue what a Bolrog is but I am pretty sure I want it no where near Osaka's christmas tree because those little workers worked their butts off cutting that down and hoisting it up near the library for the Christmas festival and I have already got enough complaints about it and it getting burned down would be the kicker.

Edit: Also to JadeDragon87 yes... as far as I am concerned and the general populace.

Also: 500 posts!!! Woohoo! Hooray! I was saving this for a thread as good as this (seeing as to how I have the most posts on this thread [64 and White Elk you are second with 24 and C3CFanatic0014 is third with 22] and as far as I am concerned the most pics also).!!!

You are tempting me to spam. Please don't. It's too much temptation. And for overall posts - I am amazed I broke 800 in a matter of a few months. (I joined in Sep., and it's mid-Dec. now. Wierd.)

Anyway, I'd post a pic, but after I nearly destroyed my eMachine, I am not allowed to touch it again. My new rig, which I call the zMachine for the big Z on the box, will have Windows by Saturday. I'll have funny pics not long after then.

Well I got a couple Really bad starts in a row so I got fed up and started messing around with the WB. I screwed around with it for about an hour. This is what I got to happen. I have no idea how I did this but It's cool though.

hehe you probobly replaced all the shroud for your civilization
I've done that before i save a modifyed map that why when I go in and make the players spawn they can't see anything by default (untill their units are placed on the map)

So I started a Standard Map with 10 civs and random climate. And upon seeing most of the map, I came upon Persepolis:

Now, is it just me, or did they just decide to put him in the arctic, and then turn the area around him into Shangri-La?

As I was about to reposition some troops, this weird swordsman comes running by from off the edge of the screen. I'm not really sure where he came from, but I'm fairly certain he's not one of mine. So anyway, I follow him off the edge of the screen, and into the fog of war...


and out of the ocean appears a magical elephant, wearing my colors, going the exact opposite direction. They approach each other, then walk right past each other. I was so stunned that I didn't think to follow the elephant back to whereever he was headed.

Perhaps he was a spy from an unknown civilization? Something is very suspicious here...

I dont have a screen shot of this as I didnt think of it at the time but anyway
on a game I was playing I had Napolean something along the lines of the Chinese armys will crush you.??? ya thats right he called him self Chinese I thought that was kinda funny. on that same game right near the end In the diplomacy screen with Victoria I moused over a tech that was red as this was odd because we were allys with defensive pacts and always traded all techs. anyway it said something along the lines of " are you mad? we are trying to win." I have never heard anyone else mention that anywhere so i thought that reasoning was neat.

Wow! I had the exact same map on my last game!! Aren't this maps supposed to be randomly generated? I also played the russians as well, the aztecs where on the western part of the island.

Known bug. If you pay close attention, a lot of things about 'random' game creation aren't quite as 'random' as they should be. Firaxis has known about this almost since the beginning, but it still hasn't been fixed...

Yes, a lot of people seem to have that exact map shown in the screenshot. I haven't had it (yet).

We all have the same maps, they are represented by seed numbers and if you happen to recieve the same number the map will be the same, so random but plausible to see the same map several times.

theoreticaly, the seed should have enough bits so that repetitions would be uncommon. it's not like random number generators are obscure algorithms either...
