This has got to be the most pathetic place I've ever seen the AI found a city.

In the ai's defence it was founded on iron, and the ai didn't have any other sources, but its still a pathetic location.
If I didn't have any iron, and that was the first iron I came across where I could found a city, I'd grab that location in a heartbeat. There's a whale there, too.

Heck, if I could afford it, I'd found a city there just to keep iron away from any other Civ that didn't have it.

My enemy, the Greeks, do two weird things.

1) They draw water from the pigs
2) They apparently don't like the Pyramids. They are quarrying its stones. :D

If you're not from the USA, or if you aren't as old as this old skunk is, the joke about "Kumbaya" might not make any sense. Here's the background.

"Kumbaya" is an African-American spiritual song, very popular in the 1960s. It probably originated with the Gullah people of the South Carolina Sea Islands. They speak a "creole," a language that is partly English with bits of West African languages. Kumbaya is Gullah for "come by here."

When most Americans think of people who sit around in a circle singing Kumbayah, they think of happy, peace-loving hippies (like me) wearing beads and flowers in their long hair. Or children at summer camp. Not Catherine of Russia -- nor any other Civ leaders for that matter. :-D

Return of the Ghost trees... (I know it's because they're on a hill and being seen by ocean... but, there's gotta be a better way to show them than hovering patches of green.)

I think Nemoy is rubbing off on some of the leaders... Right after I got this from Asoka, I got it from Mao.

I didn't get the chance to take a pic of it, but Isabella flashed her hand at me after a deal, and her fingers were little stubs. It was hilarious, but I missed the Print Screen button and hit Scroll Lock instead. My bad... if I see it again, I'll be more careful to hit the correct button. :D

In fact I knew this, the "What did you say, Catherine?" is there just because I didn't know what to comment.
Thanks anyway, I didn't know all the details (the Gullah, South Carolina).

My daughter thought it was amusing that her machine gun was in the Coliseum. :)
