Future Tech 1?

What is future tech 1, and what do i get from it when i learn it?
Also if i install a patch on an existing game will it take effect during that game?

You only get points to add to your score, it serves no other game purpose. The points awarded is insignificant, so it's not worth it if you can spend your money in better ways. There have been several examples where people got like 25 future techs and only got like 5-15 points from them. With a score over 20,000 you can see that 5 or 10 points is insignificant. If you can use your money to make more people happy (luxury slider) you would be better off.

I've read most of this guys posts and I know where he can easily find each and every answer... In the Manual, take a few mins and look in the index or TOC and find what you need.
