FW, Scenario Editor

Does anyone actually use the editor inbulit into FW? When I tried to use it to create a scenario everything went haywire! At first I was just changing units then when I went to do city improvements everything had been moved about. Very confusing.

I use it but do not use it for advances as he creation of 'no-no' advance seriously screws up the rules file! Notepad is your friend

The inbuilt editors sometimes get confused when you change a lot of stuff from more than one editor in one session. It is perfectly safe (and even sometimes desirable) to use the editors. You just need to reload the game to use a different editor during the same session just to be safe.

As for the No-No problem, everything leading from a No-No becomes No-No if you activate the advances editor and exit by clicking OK. Just leave the manual changing to No-No till the end to avoid this problem.
