I think the point is more that if you have a near perfect start with just the mountain missing that it is still probably well worth submitting.

True enough. Things like the number of desert hills can count for more, too, anyway.

    Yeah, I know. I couldn't find a decent G+K suggestion.
But I wanted to bring back the thread alive :)
I will keep picking games out of it in the future.

T-300 is not gonna be competitive as far as medals go. I'd guess under T-275 or something, maybe even less.

Q1: Does the UA give culture from barbarian kills? I guess it does but want to confirm.
Q2: (If Q1 is yes) Does the UA and Honor opener stack for higher culture gain or does it stay the same with or without Honor opener?

Q1: Yes it does, very nice at the start to get the culture rolling

Q2: Yes, example archers are worth 4 points and go to 8 after Honor opener.

Just finished a 276-turn win. I imagine the winner will be under 250 as I don't have any DLC apart from G&K. Going to replay taking Honor instead of Liberty I think.

The winner will be under 240 turns.

The Aztec UA is nice, and it works with or without honor. I went with Tradition, Liberty, Piety, Patronage, and Freedom (not in that order of course).

The best way to use the Aztec UA is to go jaguar first and get another jaguar out early on. Use them to win cultural, military (don't have to build any more army), and other CS.

T262 first (probably final) try. Settled on a desert hill next to barringer crater natural wonder, which allowed for the observatory. But the food/lux was kinda weak. Messed up multiple things...should have been around T250. Crowded conditions made for lots of wars even though I choose peaceweight opponents...not enough research agreements. I need to learn how to achieve more DoF's.

Contrary to history, I included Spain and wiped them off the map for a little Aztec fantasy revenge.

Trad opener - Honor opener - Trad finish - Piety through 10% discount - Freedom - Patronage/finish piety - finish honor. I think something along those lines is probably best.

The barbs are fun at first, but it gets tedious after 200+ turns.

Winning game will definitely be under T240.

Decent times imo. I also played my first try, ended T-264. Not sure what the winning time is gonna be, under T-260 for sure, under T-250 seems possible, under T-240 I dunno, may be, but seems quite tough atm to me, under T-230 would be a surprise, but who knows whats possible...

Liberty seems a somewhat odd choice with OCC....

Yea I was debating about it but ultimately determined that the free golden age is always needed to maintain per-ma golden age even with the chitzen itza and freedom finisher since we are not persia... it far outweighs the little and unreliable culture from honor and gives you an extra great person

I would probably forgo Patronage instead of Honor with raging barbs checked. Granted I haven't attempted this one yet so we will see.

Patronage for scholasticism, Liberty (after full Freedom) for a golden age and great artist. Honor has its perks, but you have to pick 2, and I prefer these.
