Game crashes at random times

I had given up on the Civ problem when I got a new game for the PC. It started doing the same thing, freezing up. At this point, I figured I couldn't getaway with using the Intel 900 series chipset video anymore. One new card later, eureka, we're back. On a positive note my computer is as updated and clean as it's ever been.
