Hello,
Over the past year I have gotten back to playing Civ and try to play a game from time to time. I always wonder why I stop playing, but then I find out when I get into a new game- it crashes around turn 70 all the time. It freezes and then crashes with Windows trying to "solve the problem" but ends up closing the game and of course by then I haven't saved the game yet so I would have to start over (and crash again). At first I thought it was my computer, so I uninstalled Civ V then reinstalled it but the problem was still there. Later on this year, I got a new built computer (fully capable of running Civ at highest standards with no problem, so it's no compatibility issue. I tried playing a game of Civ for the first time on this computer (which I built and installed Windows and then eventually Steam, and eventually Civ V, so it's all clean) and it still crashes. I would really like to enjoy a game of Civ without this happening, but I don't know what the problem is nor how to fix it. I searched around and any relevant posts were from over 5 years ago.
Help would be greatly appreciated!
