Game missing

I downloaded the expansion from the Direct2Drive retailer and installed it with no problems, but when I go to run it the application is not anywhere on my system only the set up application. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but I get the same results. There is no error message, no system crash, there is just no application. Firaxis and 2K have been no help, so please someone help me.

you did contact direct2drive, right? take2 and firaxis are not necessarily the right people in this case...

Direct2Drive were the ones who suggested getting in contact with the ones who made it. I feel like I'm getting a run-a-round . I had enough of that when I was in the army . So if any of you have some sort of programing background I would like to know why this happened and what could be done. Any help will be recieved with much gratitude.
