In starting the game, we decided on the game settings by a series of polls to allow everyone to configure the game in the style that best suited the most people. These are the settings that have been decided upon:
Level? Deity. (Chosen in this thread after the end of the previous game)
Barbarian level? Raging Hordes (not voted, also in the thread above)
What Version of Civ 2 should we use? Civ 2 Classic.
Scenario or Normal Game? Normal Game
Restarts On? No
Random Enemies? We allowed Smash to choose which other civs we faced but stipulated that they should be different from those we faced in the last game (Chinese, English, Germans, Mongols, Romans, Zulus).
Map type? Islands and continents
Map size? Normal
Huts on? Hell yeah!
Direct tech? No
These are the starting settings. I imagine that the first President will also be playing with the town council and the throne room off.
