For those who have unlocked the game, what are the confirmed game speeds???

From the dev multiplayer stream, there's quick, standard, epic, and marathon, as per V. In multiplayer, you can also select online game speed, which is double standard speed, even faster than quick.

All 4 that have always been there + Multiplayer Speed, which is apparently 50% (Fast being 66%).

It's also available in Singleplayer.

There is a new gamespeed online probably meant for multiplayer don't know how it works.

I'm not sure why you were worried:think:
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I told him there's no reason to even doubt that all game speeds will return in the last thread he created on that topic, but oh well.

Apparently some people DO get up and look out of the window to make sure the sun still exists.

I seldom have the time nore patience for a marathon anyway. I'm pleased the option is there though. :egypt:

Hmmm... it could be because I think playing CIV on anything less than Marathon is a subpar experience, and that all pre-builds of the game lacked any other game speeds besides STANDARD and QUICK, so... yeah. Sorry for asking a question and getting a confirmation finally.

And since some people are surprised that you cant even rename cities (a feature that no one really questioned would be lacking), you can see how there is some cause for concern for aspects of the game not yet promoted.

It's also cloudy in New York City today, so I'm unsure that the sun does exist, at least for today.

A marathon game can last me 2 weeks. I just play a few hours a night.

A Marathon Game on a Huge map as Venice was certainly the most fun I ever had in Civ V, even with the extreme loading times between turns. It just gives a much deeper sense of progression, and you feel more like you're actually creating relationships that mean something, like you're building an empire that has to survive through the ages, and less than a strategy game where you want to reach the goal as quickly as you can to be proud about your finishing time.
