Game takes 10 minutes to load. Domestic Advisor window takes 1-2 minutes. How to make it faster?!

I uploaded my latest game save for my most current game for you. I am the Scandinavians and have over 200 cities. (I sorta lost count.)

I hope your system is ready to take the map size: 256x160. It's one MASSIVE map, but the total world population is still not at 1 billion. My civ's population however, is at over 800 million though.

Anyways, do you have any idea how to make my game load faster? (Takes about 10 minutes to load.)

And how to make the Domestic Advisor window load faster? (Takes about 1-2 minutes to load.)

Also, at every turn, the game sometimes just gets stuck in a loading pattern for about a minute or two as well.

The file attached is KLV (Kristian Lie Vogt - the ruler's name) DI (Divine Intervention, a civ-rescuing event that happened about 1090 BC) 2.41 (My saves are named every .01 since 1.0.), so KLV DI 2.41.CivBeyondSwordSave.

Overall, this game feels SLOOOOOWWWWW. One turn can take 10-20 minutes to complete if I don't alt+tab away to do something else. I wish you'd figure out a way to speed up the rate that it operates. Thanks.

As far as I know Civ IV just is not designed to handle maps that gigantic, so no mods or computer hardware is going to allow it to process turns faster. The game would have to be entirely remade from scratch, with "modern" (relatively speaking) hardware in mind.

The game loaded in 1 minute and 30 seconds. A couple of turns I tested took 13 to 25 seconds. The Domestic Advisor took 3 to 5 seconds to display.
I use a RAM disk and have solid state drives.

How powerful is your computer? I use one solid state drive and have 8 GB of RAM. I've never heard of a RAM "disk" before, so I'll have to look into getting it installed, provided that there's room in my laptop. How many gigs is your RAM disk? How much did that cost?

Intel i7-6850K CPU @3.60GHz
Memory 32 GB
64-bit Operation System

RAM disk is where you use memory to act like a hard drive.
I created a RAM disk of 7.8 GB.
I install CIV IV in memory(RAM Disk) and run it from there instead of running it from a hard drive.
With 32 GB of memory, I'm able to have enough room for that and also run the operating system and all the applications.
I don't know how much that quickens everything.

I have two drives and both are SSD.

In your case, 8 GB of RAM would not be enough for you to use a RAM disk for Civ IV as I use almost use that much for my RAM disk and still have 24 GB of RAM left for everything else.

Is your operating system on a SSD? When you run Civ IV, what is your system memory usage?
