The game worked initially for a long time, then suddenly stopped loading a few weeks ago.
I click on the Civ shortcut and you see the eggtimer for a split second, then nothing. No error messages or system crashes.....just nothing.
I've downloaded the latest ATI drivers, but this didn't work.
I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling (patch included), without luck.
I've heard that changing the "enable logging" line in the config file to "1" can solve startup problems, but since the file is created the first time the game starts I cannot do anything.
I've attached my DirectX setup details if thats any use.
