Game won't even install, gives me a catastrophic failure error message at 5%...

I don't know why this is happening, the game simply does not install. Running Windows XP Pro, I try the full install and I receive the message I just mentioned. I even tried copying the files from the CD to the HD and installing from there, same results. What gives???

I'm bringing up this thread again because I had the same problem. It gets up to 8% and it stops when it reaches the file C:\... \Civilization III/Art\units\Galley\GalleyDefault.flc and then I get a small window that pops up saying;
