What games are you currently looking forward to the most?

For me it's gotta be Valkyrie Profile 2. I liked the first that the second one will probably dissapoint me no matter what. Still can't wait for it though.

There's a good chance I won't like it, and I can wait for it, but i'm looking forward to UT2007. I'm going to have a lot of spare time on my hands during weekday evenings, so i'm going to take up the game as a 'pro'
Deathmatch games are easiest to do it with (you can rely on yourself), and generally they are where the money is. UT2007 is the next promising game of that ilk to be coming out. Word to yo momma and so forth.

I don't know because I have never played a Railroad game before. I am getting it because of the following reasons:

1. Its a very popular series so there must be something good about it.

2. I have enjoyed many "economic management" games in the past.

3. Firaxis have never let me down. Sid Meier knows how to make a game fun and easy to play.

About your comment on Pirates, maybe you played it too much? I found it was a very good game, but in small doses. It was very addictive, however I only played it for about an hour a week. I would disagree that it was "boring." I would call it simple to play, light, fun and addictive.

Spore, without a doubt.

I like the idea of Spore, however I'm not getting it because I don't have the best memories of Sim games, plus I don't like the way Maxis and Will Wright try to suck as much £money$ out of you as possible by simply making a brilliantly fun game, and then creates about 5 expansion packs for it, which then develops a sense of want or lack if you only own the vanilla game. Another minor thing I disagree with is that the game concept strongly supports evolution, which I disagree with due to all the scientific evidence against it. I shan't buy Spore. I have enough games to play as it is, and so little time. I think I will quietly watch from the sidelines like I did with the uproar of the Sims 1+2.
