Does anyone know if there is livestream today? I can't find a schedule for the 2K page but I think I remember seeing Writing Bull say he was doing a Livestream today sometime.

Anyone got a clue?

This is what is posted on the Sid Meier’s Civilization facebook page:

"We'll be streaming Civilization VI once more today, live from gamescom and playing as Japan!
Join us at 8pm CEST/11am PDT."

It's from 18h ago. I think it is meant for today, bu I always get confused with the time zones.

In the 2K Twitch, I see it will be today at 1:30 or 2:30PM CET/CEST (so now or in 1 hour). There is some confusion with time zones.

EDIT : It just begins now !

Important question. Have you guys noticed from these gameplay videos if the sun shines from a certain point ,say equator, or is it simply from the northernmost point on the map (from outside the map)? Seems to me like the latter.

I didn't see the video from the beginning. Did he name a reason why he settled directly on the coast (in the middle of desert tiles)? Is there an advantage from that, that we don't know of? I have the discussion from the other thread in mind. Maybe he has news for us there. He is not playing for the first time, so I doubt its just a plain mistake.

Doesn't it have fresh water from Oasis? A solid choice in this case - eureka, building ships without harbor, etc.

The sun moves from east to west and shines from the north (seems like way outside the map), the moon moves east to west and shines from the south. No map rotation was used in the video.

EDIT: That's just weird. They should just make "the sun" shine from some point around equator, moving east west and be done with it. Would be fun determining your position on the globe based on how shadows are cast.
