Pop-up killers will work, but it is usually only a minor inconvenience.

I put www.gatorcorporation.com and www.gator.com in my blocked sites when the core ad's were bombarding us, and I haven't seen one of those since. It usually works. . .

But at school I've been getting something like this popping up for 2nd-thought.com. . . . some kind of browser plug in. I haven't seen it at home or work (neither other place would I install it in) and I'm wondering how to get to the plugins for IE.

But yeah, a 'never trust' option would be cool. . .

I have a pop-up killer and I still get those requests to install their garbage, whatever it is. I even wrote them to ask why they insist so much on me installing their stuff but they seemed not to understand what I was saying. They were under the impression I had willingly done something to get their installer program to appear while in fact I have tried desperately to avoid it. For some reason, they could not grasp the idea I wanted to have nothing to do with them. So I gave up and now I just manually close those windows whenever they appear.

I'll try the block site thing though.

Opera stops popups. And I have "Spybot Search & destroy" good program for killing all the spyware on your computer. fun fun!

I sometimes got those in IE, but never get them in Opera :hmm:
