General Knowledge quiz II

Sorry, forgot about this.

Whom were the first to domesticate cats and why?

Yes, although they became domesticated as the Egyptians kept them around for limiting vermins around crops and harvests. They were eventually made sacred and "temple pets".

However, i just did a read-through on wiki to double check the answer. And apparently evidence of human interaction with cats go back to the Neolithic era.

Anyway, i'm lazy so i'll accept. Take it away Diamondeye.

Who is the author of a classic "poem" written in the style of the ancient Greek epics about Satan's fall from heaven and Adam and Eve's banishment from Paradise?

Spoiler Advice, for those who need it :
The first version of the book is from 1667

Let me rephrase the question then: Who is not famous for writing a novel that consists of a single sentence?

Or someone who's not famous at all....

Well I actually was kind of kidding.... The original question stands. :)

Not Coe (as far as I know).

I might add that novella might be better word for it than novel. I'm not sure what's the exact limit, but it's just about 100 pages long.

Was it written in English? I'd guess German would be a good language to do this in, and since he's known for writing long sentences, and for being a bit... odd... I'll guess Kafka.
