Please forgive me if I'm flogging a dead resistor with this post, but I haven't encountered this phenomenon before. I experimented with a level battlefield among civs by turning off special attributes in a regent game as Germany (blue is my thing). My expansion fizzled out early so I dug in, building the Pyramids in Berlin to give my meager territory some pep. After completing Pyramids I was surprised to find myself in a Golden Age. Am I right in concluding that disabling civ bonuses nullifies the assigned attributes of civs and wonders completely? It was odd to see a religious/industrious wonder inspire the finest moments of my scientific/militaristic civ. So timing of Golden Ages is only feasible with enabled attributes?
