Getting Started

I've been lurking around here for a while and decided to join this forum, so hey everyone. I'd like to play these GOTM things, but i cant get them to work. Ive downloaded the HOF mod and tried numerous things to get it to work, but it never does. Can someone post a step by step guide to get this started please?

im sorry, but i didnt see the other thread liek this... this can be deleted. sorry to waste your time. but you should sticky a step by step buide on how to get this thing started so people like me can just go there and it wil be really easy for us.

Oops, sorry, I thought you had found the answers int hat "other thread".

You need the game (civ4 vanilla, warlords or BTS). Then you need to patch it to the last version. Then you need to install the HOF version of your chosen game. And then you are ready to load the initial save of the xOTM.

Where in this process do you find problems?
