British Army brigade... recruited from Nepal... based in India... now with British citizenship.

Which civilisation should they be associated with?

You can learn about them here: http://www.army.mod.uk/brigade_of_gurkhas/history
and here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gurkha

I think the Wikipedia page needs updating because UK government made some recent changes.

They were around a long time before WW2. The unique feature is their traditional Kukri knife, and they are associated with (or atleast I associate them with) jungle warfare.

Yeah thanks for the research~ was about to start when u finally post a website about ghurkas aha..

See what i mean? theyre respected figthers.. maybe they can be Unique Units upgraded for the English?

Perhaps a Rajasthan or Nepalese swordsman UU, with a bombard representing the Kukri's small size and their jungle environment.. Ghurka 3(1)/2/1 and upgrading to Riflemen instead of being a dead-end?

Here's the history of the Kukri which is what makes the Ghurka so unique.

Later (1901-1906), The Gurkha regiments were renumbered from the 1st to the 10th and redesignated as Gurkha Rifles.
