Does anybody know how to gift an aircraft to another civ or city-state? I'm running G&K with all the latest patches/etc. I've tried putting a jet fighter on an aircraft carrier then putting that carrier into another civ's territory. I then select the jet fighter the following turn and the gift option isn't there!
I can gift the carrier itself, though. Unfortunately, when I do, any aircraft currently stationed there seem to disappear from the game entirely. This behavior is identical when I try it with a city-state.
I read in an older patch changelog that the "bug where you can't gift aircraft to city-states" had been fixed, but as far as I can tell that is not the case. Either that or there was a regression since then.
Is there some secret to doing this that I'm not figuring out? This seems like a really, REALLY stupid bug to me. Has anyone else encountered this problem?
