First off, I'm pretty new to FFH2 (been playing it for a couple weeks now), and I'm brand-spankin' new to the Grigori / Cassiel, so my apologies if I'm incorrect on something.
Basically, as I understand it, Cassiel cannot have State Religion or hero units of his own, but he gets Adventurers instead, which have the Hero promotion. These adventurers are generated like Great People, with his Palace giving +2 Adventurer GPP per turn.
I like the dynamic of having to be cautious with Specialists, so as not to "waste" your GP pops on a Sage/Prophet/etc. My problem comes in when I'm playing Team games with my friend. Since the GP counters seem to be linked between civs, when he inadvertently popped a GP (generated from a Wonder he had built), this seemed to push back my production for an Adventurer. Since his wonders were generating more GPP than my Palace could, I was having a hard time getting another adventurer out, even if I used my world power to reset the counter.
So, is the above the desired mechanic for multiplayer? If so, does anyone know a way I could get around this problem of not being able to generate Adventurers? I looked in the Civelopedia and it seems the only other building that can help me produce Adventurers is the Grigori Tavern, but that's quite a long ways down the tech tree in my game.
