Global Armageddon: "fun" for Everyone

I have to say, I support the Sheaim getting a win condition for Armageddon. Especially if you tell everyone else to dogpile them around 80% ish, or have increasing diplo penalties at 80%, 1 per AC... then they'd win at AC100.

A bunch of my friends and I were HIGHLY surprised when the Sheaim did NOT win at AC100.

What if they had an ritual with a high AC requirement, which as a prerequisite a Draw-like ritual that puts them into a permanent war with everyone (except maybe the Infernals/other AV civs)?

I think there is no need for such a thing. AC 80 is as good as starting any ritual, in order to tell anyone to go after them. It is the time to tell all, otherwise "Good" or "Neutral" Civs that have adopted AV to change to another religion, and even the other evil civs(except the Infernals) to denounce AV and go after the Sheaim. If, up to AC 80, the Shaeim are not AV, they should adopt AV at that point. In addition, the Infernals(if present) should ally to the Shaeim, in the LETS BRING THE ARMAGEDDON ON THE WORLD all out war. I think it is the perfect ending.

I just finished up a Sheaim game wherein Armageddon led to the near instant collapse of the second most powerful nation. Armageddon hit. I use my world spell. An army of 13 strength specters swept through like a cold wind, razing about 8 cities in two turns.
I'll admit that, afterwards, it did start to feel like business as usual, but I wouldn't say that the Sheaim did not benefit greatly from the big Boom.

Anyways...victory conditions and all that aside, does anyone have any more thoughts on the horsemen causing global effects? Kind of why I started the thread. :mischief:

I personally love your ideas, as it stands the horse men are just heroes. They should be harbingers of the Apocalypse.

I think armageddon and the four horseman should have much more of an impact. IMHO alot of things need reworking. As it stands now I kind of feel armageddon is more of a statistical thing than a change in game state. I personally think it should feel like a whole new game at high AC.
