Well the science minister always wants more funds, even when science is on 100%. The Military leader is the same, demanding more troops.

Let's not get into how useless the advisors are. I say get rid of them completely, but that would be a Civ3 topic :)

BTW, nice looking empire you have goign there, is that on a Huge map?

Actually it is Marla Singers map and it is about 1900. Way ahead of the rest controlling Europe, Africa, 2/3 of Asia and Australia.

Stupid War Advisor says I have an average army vs. the yanks. I mean, I have +200 Modern Armor and +200 Mechs, they have just 15 tanks, 250 Infantry and a whole bunch of useless stuff.

I am currently stuck in 1980 with a divide error bug that returns no matter what I do. But that is for the tech forum......

And the advisor stuff indeed is something for the Next Patch forum!!! :p :p

I was once told that my army was inferior to everyones on the whole planet. The next turn, I started a massive campaign to rid the world of those foriegn devils, and I destroyed everyone.

While playing as the Greeks in the early Middle Ages, post-Feudalism but pre-Gunpowder, my Domestic Advisor came up after I had finished building something in one of my cities and suggested I build a Pikeman. Pikemen have the exact same values as a Hoplite, but cost 30 shields vs. only 20 shields for the Hoplite.

You're forgeting that the pikeman is much prettier then those annoying hoplites. Somehow in every civ 3 game the greeks are always the weakest and the most annoying civ but no one can do a damn thing about it because of these hoplites. And you can't even put a siege on them!!!
I think your advisors should tell you when to go to war. I'd like to see that science advisor (expecially the Roman one) with a mad look on his face saying something like "WAR! BLOOD! KILL!"

I am almost dying for a reimplementation of CIV 2 Advisors:

Build more stock exchanges and I'll show you what cashflow is really all about!

Elvis:THe people love you your majesty.
Eco Adviser:Let's do lunch sir!!

;) :king:
