Well as i have uploaded various mods and read civopedias i seen some stuff missing from the game. What i thought up was the game mechanics with what relates to real life mechanisms.
I noticed advisers could be added to add more strategy to strategy. Population adviser should indicate four kinds or people - Villagers (Native), Civilians (Criminals), Settlers (Immigrants), and Citizens (Graduates), Workers (Workforce). My opinion take note, is if another mod project gets created it should introduce this to the game for fun. I had a wild idea about this game, but can see much is left off from the mechanics.
Various Advisors such as Resources, Economy, Wealth, Military, Population, Business and Financial. The reason for all of this is so the game can act in Sim Mode gives the players more options related to "empire building and management strategies apart from war tactics."
What i have noticed in most mods under Specialty in Civopedia is that "Agent" and "Contractor" is missing. I noticed Worker is a unit and not just part of the population.
Population should indicate various types in the populace. Villagers (Native), Civilians (Criminal/Prison system), Settlers (Immigrants/Migration), Citizens (the Graduates) Workers (Workforce). Pretend your borders are open, but a neighboring country sends in population, this way the population adviser knows what is what from that adviser. Villager means this, does this. Civilian means this and does this. Settler means this does this. Villager means this and does this, and Worker means this and does this.
Villager mines resources they help gather the Wealth or another term used, help gather the Wealth for the populace. Villagers might plant more trees. They might even mine Gold. Different branches of the Military not included, but that sure would be more entertaining for the player in how that is introduced.
City contracts missing to build new things.
Citizen can mean different stuff such as Doctor, Nurse, Attorney, Lawyer, Astronomer, Scientist.
The whole point of the adviser is to know what is all inside the Civilization. It will give answers to who is what and how many. Capacity limits from Residential to even Prison.
Advisors such as Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Environmental would spice things up. Commercial planes missing, Various planes from public to private missing and Air Port Security.
All of this fits to mind with from what i was thinking and teach gamers. Having a war game built similar to this, but with also Sim City mechanisms built into the game mechanics. The gamer might not like war, but they sure might like the game based on just building a nice pretty empire, which could be included. And it would be fun for gamers to invade that pretty nice Empire for fun and games.
Anyways, you people are the best, some great mods indeed, and i'll keep visiting the forum.
Oh something else is that borders might expand like it does in the game, but so would cities through construction means.
The other stuff is embedding the game to have riots, terrorist attacks, other crimes related to population out of control like bank robbers and how to deal with them like Military Dispatch.
The Residential adviser should indicate population capacity from homes, to motels to even hotels and prisons.
When a war is proposed, the draft happens to re-up the reserves.
See what i'm saying, different advisers mean different things for the civilization or empire. The only capacity it should have is by what it can support and how many reserves can be called up to serve. See what i'm saying, it might not be focused mainly on international war, but to specialize it to combat crime as well inside your own civilization.
