I'm not sure if it's new Warlords patch related or new TR version (tried the forum's search engine but found nothing interesting) - is there now no way to get workers/settlers/tech/warrior from goodie huts?
I've tried like more than 50 times (with random seed on reload turned on of course), both with warrior and scout, from different directions and nothing - all I could get was gold, map and scout.
While I was playing TR pregold I got settlers/workers without problems (~25% chance) using warrior.

You could just READ the GoodyInfos.xml file

Wy do you assume that reading this xml file will tell me anything - as I am a person totally not experienced in xml language and civ4 modding?
Why do you measure all people by your level of knowledge?
Oh yeah... you're a guru  .
Sorry - reading this xml told me nothing. But finding it's location told me that it is mod independent and even might be Warlords independent.
Anyway after restarting the whole game from the scratch I started getting some workers and settlers in same locations, same years as previously tried tens of efforts... some mystery but luckily solved. Thanks for the reply anyway.

Well as I don't know you or your acknowledge I have nothing else to measure by, I generally due people the favor of assuming their intelligent and are capable of RTFM but if you prefer to be spoofed I can be accommodating.

It looks like they didn't include a goodInfos.xml which means theirs no change in goody effect themselves, they did change the HandicapInfos.xml though which controls probabilities of goody pops through the <Goodies> tag. They did 3 main things.

Eliminated Settler and Chieftan difficulty levels,
Eliminated all Tech pops from all levels,
Made animals and Barbarians more dangerous on Warlord and Noble

Settlers originally popped only on the two eliminated levels which is why your not seeing them anymore, Workers can still pop on Warlord level but no higher and its quite rare.

I would not call internal xml files classify as 'TFM' so sorry - you are wrong in that way of assumptions in this specific case, thinking that everyone can and should read and understand all xml files in case of any problems with their Civ4 game. EOT from my side as we definitely broadcast on different frequencies...

I learned XML from reading them, not from manuals. Most of them are very easy to understand. However, how one xml work is written in python, SDK, dll or in other xmls.

TR Has Removed the Settler and Technology "gifts" from tribal vilages. Only money, scout, warrior, barbarian spawn and rarelly worker is what can happen. Chances are showed in xml.

Well I'm playing latest version of TR since 3 days and after the initial problem and then restart of the game I got 3 Settlers. So are they really removed?
Maybe it's difficulty level dependent as I initially started at Noble and got no Settlers/workers and then restarted as Training.
But please - do not direct me to XML files, I'm not that technical. I just use this mod and game and really enjoy it - by playing not creating/modifying it.
Have it in mind that people don't have to like/know/use the same things you do...as we all are different and have different approach/skills level.

Well. I dont remember what Training dificulaty is for. Settler It was named earlier, and it may have settlersin goody huts. I was checking xmls some time before adn there were no settlers from noble to diety.

How ever training is made for you to learn basics of game, new features, units, tech tree etc.
