got dsl, wanna host full game, super map(30000 sq.) everything optimized by expert

Units, city and terrain improvements roughly 3/4 of their former cost (dont worry, the improvements/resources information is coming), the map is just a standard 10,000 sq.'s and not 32,000, and.... there will be one more change as well, however sad it is for me to report. No barb cities. This is not because they didnt function quite right, as reported by a friend who played the scenario, since all the cities made were unhappy and coulndnt produce barb units (this problem is easily fixable though), but because the city limit is 255, which is good enough, almost, considering that this is a much smaller smaller map, but if i put alot of barb nations everywhere (in the original BEAUTY map there was upwards of 130 barb cities worldwide) then at some point, if people neglect to wipe them out, they could clog up the game, which most certainly would've happened with the last map. So, for the good of the game, but sacrificing a great aspect to what should be a limitless game, they will be removed, and we must fight only with other LEGITIMATE civs.

I also found great new graphics for the fighter, bomber and stealth fighter, one of the last set of units to be left unchanged, apart from the naval set; the original ironclad, destroyer, cruiser, AEGIS and battleship which are all superbly drawn and deserve to stay.... and i also made several minor changes to units' a/d/m's and such things, so I will mail you all the corrected versions of the files, and the unit's sheets, after I scan them, which I have plenty of time to do given that this game has been ominously delayed yet again... but eamers vacation is coming to a close soon, and, anyway, it was well-deserved! (*its hard being a governmental puppet, you know, but oft the dummy acts as such until the time is ripe to yank the strings from above and work them for itself.... or maybe I was just high when I saw Pinocchio...*)
 
helu fellaz.... you know, some things change faster than a click, and then there's time itself, which tricks you , making it think its slow, with alot of days left, but all of a sudden things come up that make all that time seem like being thrown into the pool, but this whole internet business of playing games is too unsteady, takes up too much time to get it down to a prefferable quality of usage, time i just dont got anymore...

Like I said, though, I got my own ideas for a great civ-type game, and theyre many and profitable ones that all seem quite possible to make, so ill still be 'in the game', so to speak, but rather above it then anything, looking at it as just an earlier prototype I have to get over, and then move on to look to the next evolution of it.

the game would still be huge, even with this smaller map, it would take more time to complete than would be pleasing, time which most of you, and me, dont really have after all

Id rather wait till I had 7 laptops all hooked up to a hub on a table in the middle of a circle of couches and then play a weeks worth of 6 hour sessions, with no lag and a focused group sport mentality to end a game that would only anyway be played just a few times as a sort of first-hand study, along the way to refinining the man-simulator genre so far you would bless the day I made this announcement... cyall
