GOTM 111 Spoiler

This is a very quick one. And I got 4 other civs - is that right. At the start, I got 3, but then London apeared on the map.

Anyway. I set tax to maximum all game long. No science.

Started building a frigate. Changed to monarchy in 1503.
After frigate I build a worrior and headed to London. Second frigate plus warrior to Cardiff.

Finished in 1524, having 5 cities. 2 warriors, 2 frigates.

You're right. There are 4. French, Spanish, Celts and English. I will change that in the GOTM 111 thread and page.

I just finished my game. Also 1523AD. Five cities. 9 warriors and 2 frigrates.

London was captured in 1515 (22 gold)
Madrid was captured in 1520 (26g)
Paris was captured in 1521 (25g)
Cardiff was captured in 1523

The rest of my game was the same as Merlin_Pilgrim described.
Tried to figure out the fastest way to RB-ing the frigrates and couldn't find a faster way.

Well, I thought I had done the fastest thing - I of course rushbought 2 frigates, but I neglected to change to Monarchy. So I finished in 1527. I saved some turns by building horsemen, I thought, but I guess that was irrelevant. So I will have the worst finish this month.

In replays I got finished in 1523 by building galleons and horsemen, then being lucky in the battles.

I expected more out of this game and was disappointed. The rivals were too weak. This game should have been at the emperor or deity level with the AI getting some units at the start. As it was they did not even defend their cities. Like others I could have finished in 1523 but delayed the last take over for a few turns while building what I could with our limited knowledge.
