So how did your game after 100AD go?
Were the AIs able to handle the advanced start and railroads?
Did teaming them help them last a little longer?
Was it all over by 100AD and this thread is unnecessary?

Certainly wasn't anywhere near over in 100AD!

I played a relatively uneventful spaceship game, waiting until Cavalry to attack the English, and then conquering the French after they declared on me. Left the Russians alone to avoid tripping the Domination limit. The team setting did not seem to help the AIs that much, and the most noticeable effect was cutting the gold available from selling techs roughly in half.

Ended up with a 1876AD Spaceship win, finishing one turn late due to choosing the wrong city to build one Spaceship part (miscalculated how much a few distant but choppable forests would help).

It was a fun game but I still worry about not finding those huts in time to get a tech bonanza - I will reload now that i have submitted to find out many total huts were there at the start, and if they were all in one place.

Slow 1800s Domination win. Almost died early on as I was negligent in building a metals city and right after I did it was razed by barbarian swords and horse archers (who raced in from distant lands on the train). Was able to hold off further losses by using lots of explorers in a defensive capacity, but it took a while to get back on my feet.

Curious if others had luck with goodie huts. I found a good number of them but did not get any tech advances. Anticipating I would get several tech from huts I held off doing any early game research which also slowed me down a bit. Later on though balanced out as I was able to run 100% science for a good long time and did more efficient research since the AIs had already teched things.

Fun game! I've never done a medieval start and it was quite enjoyable. Loved having the train available - only lost one tile of it to barbs eventually.

I put Washington on the west and NY in the east. Lost Atlanta stupidly to barbs, then to have Peter take it over from them, then the barbs took it back from Peter, and then I took it back from the barbs. Whew!

I managed to fill up my area with cities. France did get a couple of cities on the northern tip of my western lands. I was only in the beginning stages of planning a war against them when they attacked. But it was bizarre because the first thing that then popped up was a cease fire proposal (not peace treaty, I don't think) and they were offering me money and a good tech and just gave a lesser tech. I didn't understand that and was wondering if this was the "new deal". Not too much longer, and France declared on me again. This time I was ready and started my campaign which eventually wiped them out. Russia also declared a couple of times during this war but I was able to fairly easily hold them off. I enjoyed a tech advantage through the game. England was pleased throughout.

Usually I'm a warmonger but this time I had a deadline time crunch so opted for the speedier route of the spaceship. England was just finishing her casings when I won.

In the beginning I did get two religions, which was nice. Also got Music from a hut (not the first though), a few scouts, and some money.

Thanks for the game! Looking forward to the next one.

Glad you liked it. Thanks for posting.

FYI, if anything is exchanged in the peace deal, then it will establish a peace treaty.
 I wish. Map maker only creates the map, can't control/change what happens in the game. New deal was just play on words because Roosevelt.
