GOTM 22 Save on Exit Problem

I am finding that the save on exit feature of the HOF mod is not working for GOTM 22 ... I am getting an error message that it is unable to save.

Might be just me, but until you know for sure, make a manual save in case the save on exit does not work for you.

Using Vista, but did not have the problem for GOTM 21 or WOTM 12.

I'm using Windows XP. I received an error message the first time I exited. No error message the second time, but it didn't automatically save either.

Here it is. Not much useful info though ...

I get the error message with a save to main menu ... but not with a save to desktop. Neither one makes a save.

I just reopened GOTM 21 ... it saved on exit just fine.

It make sense you wouldn't see it on an exit to desktop since the app is closing. Was the GOTM21 file already there?

It says error creating save file. It smells like a security issue to me.

@ Denniz: I didn't keep a screenshot of the error message. As I recall, it looked something like the one da_Vinci got.

Thought I would state the obvious, just for the record

I opened an intermediate save from GOTM 21 to see if that one would save on exit, and it made a new save file dated yesterday (the day I made the new save). It is the same destination (presumably) that GOTM 22 is trying to save to, so I am not sure why it should be a security issue for 22 but not for 21

Both are patch 1.74 and same HOF mod, right? So the diagnostician in me says maybe there is something different about the start files ...

Or, Vista is giving us random quantum mechanics behavior
