At least one thing wasn't easy in this game: Getting the fastest conquest. Well done by Harok beating notabilities like Cactus Pete, me , Erkon, LowtherCastle and the mystery player known as "Wimp of the Week".

Congrats to all the other award winners - even an "easy" game can provide challenges....

Isn't this unusual? The Spaceship is faster than Culture and almost as fast as Diplo...

Judging by the HOF, diplo < space < cultural so no surprise there. Possibly what's suprising is the small gap between diplo and space, you have a very good date whereas jastrow's diplo date is decent only. I didn't play this game though so I have no idea how fast research was, and if it is your date that's actually incredible.

I've always though that Space was always much much later than Cultural. I don't have any statistic to show, though, just one example (GOTM24).

To my defense, I spent less than half the RL time that Erkon spent on this game, and less than 1/3rd of what LC spent...

With 3 total cultures ever including this one the cultural victory was hardly made by an expert, I guess that has something to do with it

If you remember (as you help analys my game i the spoiler) my approch was to try to wonder fuel the culture in the 2rd city which did not work out as good as I hoped (culture was not that bad but research took a bad hit).

I find I've submitted my game to the wrong bit! I meant to submit GOTM23 but put it in HOF instead. Rejected.

Won't do that again. Was a late space victory anyway. If I could just have had very slightly better relations with Mao I'd have taken a decent diplo time, but not good enough for the medal. Maybe another month.

My first ever GOTM submission and i get 99th, awsome. A great game despite the total lack of metals, which really forced me into a culture do to the hammer poor land. My worst culture in a looooong while too. Thx for the map and thx to the staff for getting the STEAM versions compatable. Looking forward to GOTM25 and BOTM1
