OldnSlow - good game! you ever finish the small-OCC try? i gave up my size4 attempt (Zulus, Aztecs and Romans wiped out by French & Barbs (whats the difference?) (sorry LaFayette)); im going to retry again for a size8...

I still have the game (not finished), on hold due to other interests. (One is cultivating another civ player -- he is shadow playing this month's GOTM; another is MOO2 which I finally decided to begin to play -- potentially addictive; and of course this month's GOTM -- write up so far coming soon to a thread near you.)

Just remember that I have destroyed the Americans so many times since I started playing civ2... and never apologized .

This is a game after all... and many people know the meaning of the nickname I chose .

BTW my only problem in this game is that Cliff managed to launch one turn sooner than I did, since I never play for score ('milking' is boring).

If I find the Americans as an opponent I try to knock them out early too - they are very strong competitors for happiness and tech wonders that I want mid-game.

This might happen only if the rules were modified: they strongly take score into account, ... and I never play for score (early landing or early conquest, that's all; IMO 'milking' is a bore)

I promised some humorous screen captures; these come from a replay attempt at "OCC-size4":

Talk about single-minded AI: the French head straight for the Zulus, take their only city, and then head north for...

But they don't seem to find what they wanted, or the "Recall" sounds...

(sorry about the poor resolution: I was trying to fit it all in - those little things are Chariots...)
