KingOfAmerica (thanks) has pointed-out that conquest class players run out of money fairly quickly!
I had forgotten to give them any extra gold to make up for the unit support until the second settler has settled. I ahve now fixed this, and player get 100 gold bonus.
If you played CONQUEST and started with only 10 gold, then if you've only played a turn or two, then get the new save. Otherwise, send me the save for a bonus 90 gold.
