GOTM 67 First Spoiler -- 1AD

I started this game wanting to go for a fast domination but this map begs for a science game. So that is where I am heading; to the final frontier.

The plan is to get the OU in a OK time like 1000AD and then head to Democracy. run many towns and win.

Sounds like a good plan, I had the same thoughts.

Settled in place, got minimum worker techs (agri, mining, AH) then Wri/Alpha (1800BC). On immortal level and reasonable neighbors I thought it could pay off. I made an attemp for Oracle CS then, but Gandhi built it circa 1200BC.

I tried to REX and got up to 9 cities by 650BC. After that I got GLib in 500BC and HG in 250BC, and started gearing up for war, having declared on Gandhi in 50BC, and getting my 10th city before 1AD mark. My Great Persons would be fed only with 2 seafood and bananas.

Nice to have you to compair with. Unfortunately I was not very focused to give you a true challenge but will continue the game more carefully. I guess you will best your earlier results with this map, So I must aim for a 17th century game instead of the 18th century that I was aiming for.

EDIT: from your mini map it seem you have to take out 3 civs to claim your side of the river.
