GOTM for Alpha Centauri

But, ALL my GOTMs have gone to Alpha Centauri!!
sure it can be done but its up to the AC players to get the ball rolling.Start a game a upload the starting position.See if anyone is into it.

We tried that ages ago and got about 4 responses.

If you can round up both AC players, they can get an AC GOTM going. (j/k) I don't play AC, or I'd join in as the 3rd person still playing AC LOL, OK, I admit AC is a decent game... I'm not real sure why I like Civ II so much and have never really even felt like finishing AC. I know I don't like their mushy graphics, compared to Civ II.

I would be the poor bloke who tried to found a SMAC GOTM, back in May I think...Of the perhaps 3 responses, not even ONE ever mailed in a game...it was a complete failure.
However, there has been more activity over in the SMAC forum lately...and maybe everyone was just turned off by my acerbic personality
But I don't think that the month of Civ3's release is a good time to try to drum up Alpha Centauri interest. After the first flush of Civ3 playing goes by maybe a second attempt could be made.
