GOTM_18 Illegal Operation at start

I'm eager to begin the Celtic game ... but am having difficulties. If anyone has advise, I'm all ears
here's where I am ...

* 1.29f patch is installed properly to my Civ3.
* Squid, eqWorker, Volcano, etc. are also installed.
* I've loaded the GOTM_18 start to my saves folder ... as well as the Russian and Carthegenian GOTM's ...
but each one will not start. The load bar pops up, stays at 0% for a brief moment, then tell me the program has run an illegal operation and will shut down ... very frustrating!:saiyan:
* Any advise would be greatly appreciated ...

Before you send an email, see if you can follow the test instructions that were provided to you in the zip folder that included all the additional graphics and test files for this game. The graphics test game will just verify if you have followed the instructions properly to install the graphics for the game. If this test fails, then we will begin the process with a pilot retraining session and then get you back into the game process.
