What is a good driver to use for an NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS card? I have been using omega drivers but its been over a year since the last release. Are stock nvidia drivers ok to use?

Yes, they're very solid.

Latest are 182.08.

I usually update once a month or so, at the same time I'm updating everything else.

Anything newer than the 6xxx series its not even worthwhile to use Omega Drivers. nVidia is good as far as drivers go, and they update them fairly regularly.
