Hello there
I hope that this is the right forum in which to post this appeal for assistance ....
My apology for this request but I am wondering whether anyone might possibly be prepared to voluntarily assist us (Tom - my US-based general programmer and I) with various graphics programming-related issues ....
We are developing a freeware healthcare education application (initially aimed at high school students interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare sciences). This SP pc game is very much based upon Civilization 4 (which remains one of my favourite games). Tom has used VB in order to build our tile-based Schematic World Map.
We are interested in the possibility of adding a series of programmed labels to the upper corners of the photographs featured in our map. However (for whatever reason) Tom cannot make the script work as the control boxes repeatedly superimpose themselves over the labels. The positioning of additional "reversible" (click on-off) border lines would also provide our map with a crisper war map type appearance ....
Therefore we are fairly far into developing this application but require some ongoing specialist graphics assistance. Is there anyone who might be prepared to help us with this ambitious project?
With kindest regards
SoM
