Graphics Question

I started playing around with the graphics for my upcoming Medieval scenario "Rise of the Barbarians."

Any comments on the textures? Are they ok, or do they make it too hard to read the text?

I vote to change the outside: there are two chanches...

a) a bit darker grey
b) another colour ( i.e. gold? bronze? red? )

PS another tip for you. on scenario league there's a webpage that teach how to change text colour! Thunderfall, quick publish it on Civfanatics, too.

I just downloaded the article "The Palette Explained" from the Scenario League tips page.

I'll play around with it and see if I can come up with something...
