I have a 200hz monitor and my graphics settings keep reverting to 143hz. I'm 100% sure my monitor is running at 200 - and the setting would stay before GS. Anyone else have this issue?

Not a PC user normally but found someone else reporting a similar issue. It looks to be a combination of two things; cable connection limitations and display size. Most cable connections are limited to a max of 144 hz, fully capable of supporting games using the screen sizes of 1080p and 1440p.
I would play with your game screen sizes to see if that makes a difference. It probably won't but it's worth a shot. Beyond that until cables and their connections are fully capable of handling 200 hz or higher just enjoy the 144 hz you have. It's still miles above 60 hz and in reality, Civ VI doesn't need all that screen speed to play well.
