i need to know what woud be the best but also cheaper graphics card on the market for all games not just civilization....i have a intel, but from what Ive heard, intel graphics arent worth much, and it shows when i play civ4

If you have on board graphics -Intel 8 series & 9 series, and the older Via on board graphics, it willnot run

The latest "extreme" chips Intel 945 on PCI-e will run it, but older on board graphics will not, you would need to fit a graphics card if you PC will take one

However please post your Dxdiag, and we can check the above for you

(Start Button - click - select run - type Dxdiag - hit enter - select "save all information" - post using the 'go advanced' button at the bottom of the page of the new post - scroll down you'll see it)

ok thanks for reading but u clearly didnt answer my question at all...my game runs, but i needed a patch. and i posted my dxthingy awhile ago and nonone at all responded to it...i need to know what are good but also not crazy expensive graphics cards, not what will run civ4..(i plan on getting a new computer and need to know what to look for)
