Great People disappear from the queue without recruitment upon new era (Not a Bug)

Not sure if this is a bug, but it seems as like one. If 2/4 great persons were earned from the classical era. Say the game moves to medieval, then after the third great person is earned, the game will skip the fourth one and move to medieval great people. This happened to me in a game when I was saving fro Hypatia, and the game skipped her when the era became Medieval.

This doesn't feel right even if it is not a bug. If it is a bug, the inclusion of more great people in the recent patches might make this problem more prevalent.

Thank you

WAD. When a new era appears, the GP from earlier eras (except the one currently available) will all disappear.

Whats does WAD mean? Also, I know what happens I just want to know if its a bug or a feature?

"Working As Designed". I would agree with the above poster that you're not experiencing any kind of bug as what you describe is the normal behavior. Without uploading a save game we can't be certain there isn't something going on, but it seems unlikely from your description.

Oh. Thanks for explaining. I just never had that happen and tbh I kind of don't like the design choice, but I can live with it. Doesn't even happen often.

That is just bloody stupid. Period, end of discussion.
Working as designed, forsooth!

The eras are far, far too fast anyway on standard speed, as even on Deity level I find myself in the classical period around 1500-1000 BC, and often in the medieval by the early AD.

That is the point. Not every GP would be recruited.
The point was that the eras are passing far too fast, really.
Should have made that clearer & apologise for the confusion caused.
(The Medieval era started in the 11th Century, not the 2nd and so on ad nauseam)
