Greek World: all civs playable

Dear All,
I am an avid player of Greek World mod, and my never-fulfilled desire is to play with other civs.
"You can play as the Romans, the Macedonians, or the Persians. There are also numerous non-playable civilizations - including Egypt, Babylonia, Carthage, Gaul, Etruria, Greece, the Greek colonies, Scythia, the Celts, the Seleucids, India, and Parthia - all of whom you will be locked into war with throughout the scenario."

So my questions are:
1. Is there a way to play some of the non-playable civs? I have been trying to change the XML files settings but it seems as all the civs are set as playable already.. so I don't understand why I can't play them.
2. Can the greek world mod work on another map? If I wanted to play Greek World on the Europe Map (adjusting cities and locations) would that be possible?

Hope this can be helpful to others too.

1.Change the map file under Civ4\PublicMaps to make all civs playable. Change:

    PlayableCiv=0

to

    PlayableCiv=1
