grigorri question

I'm playing as Grigori and very unhappy.
Tried to build temples but no go, I guess cause I'm agnostic.
The FAQ says I can build them after choosing the "free religion" civic?
How do I choose the "free religion" civic.

Alternatively, any tips for improving hapiness in the early game without temples?

Sorry, this civic was eliminated. No cumbaya for Erebus.

For early happiness, try getting huters, research domesticate animals, capture some animals, research festivals, build carnivals, and have your captured animals build cages for +1 happy each.

Other Grigori friendly sources of happiness: public bathes on sanitation, the consumption civic, and of course resources.

I recomond that you play the grigori at least one game through. They don''t recieve the flavor benefits from religion but they are extremly strong, build lots of adveturers
