So far so good.

Havn't done alot of missions yet but I have done alot of stuff allready.

I eat out everyday.Thats right,you actually have to eat in this game.Burger,pizza and chicken joints all around the city.
Of course with this bad diet of fast food,I've put on a few pounds so I have been working out hard.
Thats right,working out.You have to hit the gym if want to improve your strength,stamina and fighting skills.I am a ripped monster

There are video games all over the city.Actual 70s/80s video games.You also have a console at your safe house of course.I'm sure its a PS2
I have even played pool for cash in a local bar!

You can swim!!!...I mean real swimming.You can also dive down and swim underwater.I'm sure there is a reason for the diving.Just havn't got that far yet.

Instead of hidden packages,you now will be spraying your gang's tag in 100 locations.11 down so far

Also you will be taking 50 pictures with your camera.Havn't figured that out yet but did spend some time taking snaps of babes in bikinis on the Santa Monica Pier....well its not called Santa Monica Pier but thats what it is.

Ok thats enough of the good stuff for now.Some negatives:
Last year we had a video option to turn "trails" on.This gave a very different look to the game.Some liked it.I did not.Anyway,you have no such option this year and they are on as default.I'll get used to it.I remember VC didn't look great at first play.

Another BIG negative(well not that big,more annoying) is they have tweaked the camera.You can now move it at anytime with the analog stick.While in a car,boat what have you.Anyway,its gonna take a little getting used to.I though they had the camera views nailed with VC...oh well what do I know?

I tryed crossing over to a yet to be unlocked island.This gave me 4 wanted stars.No big deal.I'll land and get to a paint and spray.

WRONG!...a jet fighter appeared and shot me down,Looked like one of those black MIGs from Top Gun.

There is a ton of stuff to do.You can cat burglar houses and lift goodies.You can get haircuts and tattoos.Buy all kinds of clothes.You can even shoot hoops!

There is a Police motorcycle!

I think I'm gonna need a strategy guide just to know everything that is in this game

I heard the game uses the n-- word a lot (the derogatory word to African-Americans).

Other than that, the game sounds really interesting, although it's not really my kind of game.

Well there is alot of radio(mostly rap) but so far NO LAZLOW!

And yes my homies always call me Niggah.Its ok.They're my homies.We roll together MoFo!..so chill out man.....oh boy...its starting.I'm changing.I hope everybody in my hood knows what they are in for ..one badass mofo in the house!

Ok good news.Lazlow is in the game.He is on WCTR Talk Radio "We Talk,You Listen".But,so far,a limited capacity.I have heard him as a caller on a couple of the talk shows which are hiliarious as usual.

There isn't much in this game that is politically correct

I saved this girl from a burning building(I set it on fire incidently ) and suddenly she became my girlfriend.
We have to go out on dates or she gets mad.First date was fine.Went to bar and got hammered.
2nd date I was heading to a nightclub when she suggests we do a a few drivebys!..quite the girl

Was informed of a midnight opening on my way home from work, so wasted an hour in town with my flatmate before purchasing the game. Needless to say the PS2 hasn't been turned off.

Game is great fun. 'Tis all familiar, yet brand spanking new. My only gripe is that I keep getting lost. Was too used to good ol' Vice, now I have to master a completely new map.

Wow, I can't wait to sink my calloused thumbs into this one. Love the eating, exercise, dating, RL stuff!! VC was the first GTA game which I truly mastered and it is still the only PS2 game I play, except for Madden. I do not know if I have the patientce or the will to master a new, bigger game. Maybe I'll wait for Smash to learn it and then tell us about how it is done. It worked with Civ!!

Hey, did anyone here ever get 100% completed on GTA? I hear that you get a Frankie Goes to Hollywood tee-shirt.

Well,I met another girl and her idea of a date is to go out and rob something and kill somebody.

I did get some "action" from her but I gotta meet a nice quiet girl.The women of Los Santos are kinda fast for me

Working my way thru.20 hours played so far with a grand total of 18.3% completion.

I can't see anyway to do everything without a strategy guide to know that something even exists!...like one of the 50 pictures you have to take is a park bench!....how would anybody figure that out?

I sure wish they hadn't messed with the camera view/angle.This is about the only sore spot for me so far.
