Oh my! :lol: It's amazing how they can pull off having a country made completely off of tiny islands.

Hey, maybe you have an idea... In the XP version I'm adding Angola but I can't think of a UU. You think of anything, be sure to let me know. BTW, I got your ICQ last night like 2 hours after you sent it and you were already gone. :rolleyes:
 
Micronesia would be a good civ, but I really don't think it would fit in this mod. Maybe in that Pacific Island mod that apparently isn't going to be made now.

Of course, I still need 2 more Guerilla civs for XP. Unfortunately, the majority of the Non-Guerilla civs are in Europe which makes the combo of Man-O-War (Continental) and Special Ops (Non-Guerilla) as UU's kinda worn out and not leaving much options for people who want to play as a European civ. Maybe I'll make Germany a Guerilla civ in the XP, and I'm not educated on Portugese history so if somebody thinks they should too be a Guerilla civ then let me know.

Here's what I have so far for plans on the XP version.

North America: America (NG), Canada (NG), Cuba (G)
South America: Argentina (G), Brazil (NG), Bolivia (G)
Europe (All NG): England, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain
Africa: Angola (G), Egypt (G), South Africa (NG)
Asia: China (NG), Korea (G), Russia (NG), Vietnam (G)
Middle East: Israel (NG), Palestine (G), Iran (G), Iraq (G)

But, I'm trying not to even think about it until the XP comes out.

I uploaded another beta version. 3 new units and some improvements in the game mechanics.

I wasn't going to upload again until the Pedias were done, but Kinboat is on a role and I don't want to leave out his newer amazing units any longer.

Lancia IZM by Kinboat (Italy flavor unit) - Stat clone of Tank. I know they're nothing alike but I already have a light tank UU (Bolivia's Carden-Lloyd) and besides, it adds alot of flavor and differance to Italy,

KhaGo by Kinboat (Japanese flavor unit) - Stat clone of Tank.

Canoe by Dark Sheer - Expansionists DO have alot of cities, but they're all in clumps, making their territory usually smaller then the other civs. Hopefull this unit will help. A harmless shore-huggin transport available immediately that can only transport 1 unit.

This will probably be the last time I update this mod online until the Civilopedia and PediaIcons are done.
 
I got bored today and was actually thinking of downloading it, but instead I got the 1.29 patch and was wandering, does this mod work alright with the patch? or hasn't it been tested with it yet as the patch is relativly new
 
the patch just came out today, and i've been working all day and will be for awhile so i won't be able to tell you until tomorrow night at the earliest or monday night at the lastest.
 
here is this mod with the civs placed. The map is from the "CivWorld" Scenario. I also added 2 more units. I hope no one minds the fact that changed their mods.

That's fine. Atleast I know somebody likes the mod enough to add some stuff of their own.

So the civs are placed where they would be in the real world? What size is the map, and what units did you add.
 
yup all civs in real world positions (give or take a little to prevent crowding)
The map is 180X180 (HUGE) and is from rookmastertc's "CivWorld" Scenario. I added a terrorist which is buildable by a few civs (the ones commonly associated with terror)
And a foreign revolutionary, which is buildable by the US and Russia(to simulate their cover operations in third world countries). Each has hidden nationality, low defense and an attack of about 6-7.Also they have a slight mobility advatage over other infantry types. They are good nuicince typ units and if i remember correctly they each have invisible and see invisible abilities. Also they are amphibious(think bay of pigs) and have paradrop just to help mobility (these units opperate far from their home nation )The graphics are just the worker. This is a fairly accurate representation of what they would be in the real world. If you can improve these ideas, feel free. If you dont really like them, just say so. I Really like your mod and if i can help in any non graphics way, i would be happy to do so.

By the way both units require new tech called "Advanced Espionage"
