...As for what Hunter Anubis is saying, he's on the right track: If you re-named the mod and the units, and as long as the models used are original 3rd-party models (and especially if they're slightly changed), then Bungie can't do squat: The reason is that now it is, for the purposes of copyright law, a parody of Halo, and not Halo itself, and parodies are protected by copyright law (Wierd Al Yankovich does not HAVE to get the original artist's permission when he records a parody of a popular song, but he does so as a matter of courtesey).

I will release some halo inspired "art". Not exact copies.
This will include a MC unit, some props, and as much other stuff as I can fit in (no promises). Everything I release will be my own creation and although inspired Halo, will not be Halo stuff. In fact I suggest that the name be "Inspirion" or something similar... alluding to the fact that it is inspired by but not a copy of the greatness that is Halo.

I gess it might be but Im not doing this becose Im such a big fan but I like the concept of 2 sides fighting and third side coming from nowhere and sloughtering bouth of them and multipling on theyer corpses while they are exterminating each other.
I thought of making diferent techs and making sure that flod comes in to game bit later it would be separated from humans and cobinet till it researches some technologie and giving them first oportunity to attack but this all can be change depending on those who would work on this with me becose I care about opinions of everyone even if they arent what I want to hear

we still have nothing so sugestions are welcomed.

I'd recommend you all read the book tie-in series. The literature appeals to me more so than the game series itself.

Bungie didn't invent the type of setting or the idea of troopers vs. aliens. "Halo" is just the name of a particular Orbital. They even acknowledge they got the idea from Mr. Banks. So call it the "War Orbital" mod already. Any further © discussion is . Get busy making it.

yea I know Halo isnt first with this idea tehre are other games like this (c and c 3 or tiberian sun if Im corect - Cabal tryes to kill bouth sides, or stargate the replicator race that multiplies from anyithing that enemie lefts behind.
Bjonrlo said he begins creating units but I think thats realy big burden for one animator to make all the units. I tryed to ask whyrmshadow for help but he ignores me so maybe all who would like this could try to write him althou he doesnt like to do requests he might change his mind (I dont think he will but who knows)

Spamming Wyrmshadow is not going to get you the answer that you want.
I will also release some of the props and so others that have time can also make units.

I suggest you begin with placeholder units Just something there to get the game started.

Get the game designed, make the tech icons, and so on...
