Handicaps on emperor/immortal/deity levels?

Hi

I wonder if AI gets advantage over me if I play on harder levels like emperor and above. I think in Civ3 he got like 2 setlers , 10 wariors, 60% faster everzhitng etc..
Is here the same? I hope not.. I notice you get lesser health and less hapiness by default in all cities on higher levels..

Of course he gets advantage over you. How else would he be able to beat a human opponent? This isn't chess.

On diety the comp is stupid. I think the comp starts with 2 settlers and pops one out magical every so often. They are like the plegue they just spread like mad and have little crazed units running all over. I have only found 1 way of beating the comp on diety and its kind of a roll of the dice.
