I note other people have had the issue that the game reports your civ as being livid even though the happiness is positive with no ill effect in the game.
My problem has gone one step further - the above had been happening sporadically throughout my first playthrough. After saving and going to bed last night, I opened up the game today to find that my civ had gone from about +6 happiness to -17, making the save virtually unplayable. I've tried loading from my cloud save and local save and get the same effect.
I've gone back on all the autosaves over the previous few turns and have had the same thing, so is it possible it's now found itself corrected resulting in horrible unhappiness?
