I don't get it, I really don't. My economic advisor just told me that my people are unhappy and at the top right corner of the screen, where all the numbers are, I have that total happiness of the empire is 45(118 total happiness from all sources and 73 total unhappiness from all sources) So what's going on here. Is it a bug or I'm missing something?

Maybe you're reading the economic advisers message 1 of like 15, so it's way older from back when you weren't so happy. There should be an arrow to move through the messages... there has to be. I don't really know because the advisers are more fluff than actual advisers, so I haven't used them ever and can only recommend to do the same.

Hmm, well, your people have happiness and unhappiness, so maybe your advisor is saying unhappiness exists? All in all though, the advisors really don't give you much information you shouldn't be able to figure out on your own. You can basically feel free to ignore them.
Agreed, just ignore the advisers entirely.
Decide for yourself how much happiness you want in reserve and when to take action on it. I think the happiness adivsor is either after a Demographic approval rating of 100% or else the Suma Tablets for everyone achievement.
Conversely, the science advisor is way too easily pleased. You need a whole lot more science buildings.
And the military advisor recommendations are based upon the same flawed calculation of military strength the AI uses.
And the foreign advisor gives bad advice like bullying every city state in which there is a request to do so (it was even worse in Vanilla) and also gives advise to denounce a major civ if there is a city state request for it.

Yeah, you should be fine with regards to happiness if you don't have a red frowny face in the happiness area. Not sure why that happened. Can you give a screenshot?

most all advisor information is hilariously horribad. every now and then i'll check one just to get a laugh. rarely the Military one might have some remotely useful info for you, but on the whole advisors are pretty bad especially for new players who might take them seriously.
The only "sometimes trustworthy" advisor is the military one, and sometimes he is wrong too. Trust your numbers, if your have more happiness than unhappiness and no one with a different ideology (if you are playing BNW) is more influential on you than you are on him, you should be safe.
